True Blood Love and Short-Rows!

Ok, I have a True Blood obsession. Can't help it. Love it. That said-- I'm obviously attracted to everything True Blood (see this post if you don't believe me). I ordered the 8-book Sookie Stackhouse series and am on the second book. And I have no will power because yesterday I bought this:

I know, I have problems.

I bought these over the weekend:

I'm actually not 100% sure why I bought these because I've been planning on being Joan Jett for Halloween all this time but I'm so enamored with vampires these days that I just couldn't help myself.  I think I may have had a change of heart. Sorry Joan!

On to the short-rows...

I've used short-rows before. I get the concept. I was just always to afraid to use them for bust-shaping. Pretty dumb for a girls with DDs, huh!? Well, finally I took the plunge. I used this article to guide me. After figuring out my calculations, the knitting began. Short-rows are super easy; it's just a matter of knowing where to place them and how many to knit. See the wedge of fabric I've created using short-rows? Hope it's big enough for my boobies!

First, you're not alone. I'm envious of your Merlotte's shirt, and I'm *this* close to finishing book 8.

I've been enjoying the series so far, despite some of the changes. Sookie is a great protagonist.

I am a Fang Banger, too.....lol. I dig the shirt, too.

The shirt looks great. I must admit that I'm always intimidated with the idea of short rows and I'm FF. Still, what has to be done, has to be done or your faced with a sweater that is way too long in the back and short in the front.

So awesome that you took the short row plunge!! I love short rows, there's nothing they can't do. Although I will admit that mine don't always look perfect.
